It's time for you to consider Beaulieu-sur-Mer beaches if you're
looking for some of the best French beaches. Beaulieu-sur-Mer is
one of my favorite spots on the French Riviera. I keep going back
for more because it truly is one of the most beautiful places in
France.
I realize that you may think a picturesque town like Beaulieu must
be dominated by the rich and famous. To some extent it there is
an upper class element to it but if you travel there at the right
time of year you can actually find some wonderful deals. I like
to travel there in the late spring or late summer.
Beaulieu-sur-Mer beaches are small well manicured beaches with
a mix of sand and pebbles. The main beach is a lovely crescent shaped
beach about 1km long.
A wonderful promenade surrounds the beach and leads to some great
walking paths. The beach has full changing and shower facilities.
There are some very good restaurants and cafe's along the promenade
where you can take a little break from the beach. Most of the towns
hotels are within walking distance to the main beach. The
beach in Beaulieu is usually a little quieter than the other French
Riviera beaches and it's a terrific family beach. There is a private
section where you can rent chairs and get a drink.
As far as French beaches are concerned I would definitely plan
a European vacation to Beaulieu-sur-Mer.
One more thing, this is not an au natural beach. However many of
the women do go topless but this is the norm on French beaches.
Just take it with stride and enjoy your European vacation.
