Climate in the Czech Republic

The climate in the Czech Republic is considered to be temperate. The summers are usually mild with July and August being the warmest months. There is a moderate amount of rain. There certainly won’t be enough rain to spoil your vacation.

The spring and fall are also a good time to travel to the Czech Republic but you can’t always count on the weather. The temperatures can be cool during the day and even cooler in the evening. By the end of April and into May the weather starts to pick up and you can expect some warmer, sunny days.

The winter can be quite cold but generally the country doesn’t experience all that much in the way of precipitation. The temperatures vary by region but not by much. Although winter is not a popular time to travel there are plenty of activities that take place throughout the country.

Below you’ll find a chart with the average temperatures in many of the cities throughout the Czech Republic. For the current weather in the major cities of the Czech Republic return to my weather page. I hope this information helps you plan your European vacation to the Czech Republic.
