Climate in The Netherlands
The climate in The Netherlands is pretty much the same all over the country. The sea is the primary factor in the weather conditions of this small country.
The coast has the mildest temperatures because of the sea while the temperature in the interior is variable. You can never really count on the weather in the Netherlands. It may be sunny one day and rainy the next. Sometimes it changes by the hour.
It can get cold enough in the winter for the canals to freeze for extended periods of time while in the summer it may be hot one day and cool the next. In the summer you’ll get more sun but heavier rainfalls if it does rain. The winter can be dull and overcast most of the time.
