Costa Blanca Golf and Beach Vacations

Alright, let's start planning your Costa Blanca golf and beach vacation. The Costa Blanca is one of Spain's most popular tourist areas with numerous beautiful beaches and some great golf opportunities. Let's look at some Costa Blanca facts to begin.

The Costa Blanca is located on the eastern coast of Spain on the Mediterranean and the capital city of the region is Alicante. This stretch of coast is a mix of vibrant cosmopolitan areas as well as a mix of rural areas that still keep their old world charm.

The area has a typical Mediterranean climate and the terrain is a mix of hills and valleys that lead to the sea. You can expect mild temperatures year round which makes a golf vacation to this area very enjoyable. If you plan to spend time on the beach then your best option is to travel in the late Spring to late fall. The beaches will be the busiest during the mid summer months so if you wan to avoid crowds plan on making a trip at another time.

The main towns in the region are: Elche, Santa Pola, Benidorm, Calpe and Javea. Each of these towns have wonderful Costa Blanca golf and beach vacation opportunities. Let's start with the beaches in the area that are worth visiting.
