Hofbrauhaus 
A must see attraction in Munich is the Hofbrauhaus. The Hofbrauhaus Munich is the worlds most famous beer hall. It's the most happening place in Munich every night of the week. Beer rules the day and they come in large litre mugs or smaller versions for the less adventurous. This place is fun and it gives the traveler plenty of opportunity to get to know other travelers from all over the world. I consider the place the worlds best icebreaker. If you can't have fun here you're probably dead.The beer hall itself dates back to the 1500's and was created to supply royalty with their own brew. It was often a meeting place during the war for members of the Nazi party but like everywhere else in Germany that is ancient history. Today it provides the visitor with a great atmosphere and traditional Bavarian cuisine at reasonable prices. It's located just down the road from the Marienplatz and is easy to find just ask anyone and they'll tell you. They also have a shop to sell their goods and a glass is a treasured item. Try one of the giant pretzels, they're delicious! Most of all let your hair down and have fun! Enjoy your European vacation at this typical German beer hall.
