Paulaner Beer Garden
and
Brewery
The
Paulaner beer garden which is located at the Paulaner brewery in
Munich should be included in anyone's itinerary. The actual name
of the beer hall and garden is the Paulaner am Nockherberg and shouldn't
be confused with the actual brewery. There are six major Breweries
in Munich and the Paulaner Brauhaus is at the top of the list. Each
brewery in Munich operates a seperate beer hall and garden away
from the main brewery.
The Paulaner beer garden at Paulaner am Nockerberg is considered
to be one of the most beautiful gardens in the city. Germans are
so civilized when it comes to beer that they even have a playground
for the kids while their parents enjoy a nice cold beer in the heart

hundreds of fun loving beer drinkers. On
nice days make sure you get there early or else it may be difficult
finding a table. It is customer to share one of the large tables
with other patrons if there is room. Food is served outside as well
(cafeteria style) and you can expect to have some excellent bavarian
dishes.
Inside the atmosphere is spectacular and a little bit overwhelming.
The place is huge and can accomodate hundreds and hundreds of people.
