Top Ten European Cities

It wasn't easy trying to come up with a list of the Top Ten European Cities. There were so many cities to chose from and I have to admit my choices were based mainly on my own experience. To come to my decision I had to look at a number of factors. For instance, I asked myself some of the following questions. How would I rate the airport? What is the public transportation system like? Is it affordable? What are the hotels like? Is it easy to communicate? Did I enjoy the food? How much history does it have? Is there enough to keep me busy? What is the nightlife like?

I also took other things into consideration before I compiled my list of the Top Ten European Cities. Below each city you'll see a chart that this common attributes of a great city. I've ranked them from 1 to 10 with 1 being poor and 10 being outstanding. I hope my list will help you plan your European vacation and make it a memorable on. Try clicking on each city to bring you to a page that describes what that city has to offer in more detail.

London

London has it all. There may not be a better city on earth. It's a city rich in history which adds to it's character. It has an excellent transportation system but is also a great walking city. If you like nightlife it has it all. The only bad thing I could say is that it's a little expensive. However, there's something for every budget. Discover London!!

Florence

Florence made the list for three simple reasons. Culture, cuisine and shopping. This renaissance city has all the culture you can dish out and maybe the best food on the planet. When your done with culture and cuisine you can shop till you drop. Make sure you spend some time at the leather market. Florence is a piece of heaven in the beautiful region of Tuscany. There's no question it's one of the top ten European cities.

So that's it that's my list of the top ten European cities. You should consider making a stop at any of these cities if you're planning on taking a European vacation.
