Venice Water Bus Video
Below you'll find a Venice water bus video. I usually take a water bus trip from the train station in Venice to piazza San Marco. This voyage down the Grand Canal gives you the opportunity to see how Venice works.
Early in the morning the canal is bustling with traffic as local vendors get their goods by boat. I love watching the city come alive. Seeing the the boats filled with produce makes my mouth water in anticipation of dinner that evening. I like the mix of tourists and locals as well. Most of the locals are more than willing to give you a little bit of advice on the trip, if you ask.
Along the way it's important to take in the architecture and the way Venice has had to adapt to their unique situation. If you look closely you can actually see evidence that Venice is sinking. Engineers have a huge task ahead of them to save this magnificent city.
The water bus makes a bout a dozen stops along the route and the trip to San Marco takes about 30 min. In April I'll be returning to Venice with the goal of producing more Venice video to help travelers plan their European vacation. The video seems to be a great way to get a feel of whether or not you want to visit a certain place in Europe. I hope you enjoyed my Venice water bus video. Untitled Document
