Weather in Venice Italy
The weather in Venice Italy will either make or break your European vacation. The best time to visit Venice is in the spring or the summer. The chances of getting a sunny day are pretty high. I’ve spent my April in Venice for the last six years and I’ve always managed to have a sunny day. No matter when you decide to go there will always be plenty of tourists.
What you have to watch out for is flooding. Venice has a tendency to flood during the winter months and in to the early spring. There could be nothing worse than arriving in Venice and finding out that Piazza San Marco is flooded. What a waste.
The weather in Venice Italy is usually not to hot but it does have a touch of extreme heat every so often. In the spring the days pleasant and the nights are a little cool so bring a jacket or sweater. In the summer you’ll be fine wearing just about everything.
The winter is another option if you’re worried about your pocketbook. Keep in mind that the days and nights will be cool but the weather is bearable. Just be prepared and you’ll have a wonderful trip.
